Where do you find love? You could perhaps find it behind a bush, a tree, or under a rock? Let’s be honest right now, most of the time people find love in all the wrong places, and it’s not even love to begin with. People are quick to label the wrong love the ‘Right Love’ and tell themselves, this is it! I found my love, and now I am going to be the happiest person in the world.
When reality sink in, and the dust settles, and we see what we have gotten ourselves into. We all run for the exit. That is human nature. Most of the human races without thinking jump into things way too fast. I agree taking risks is fun in love, but let’s first find love and be completely sure its love.
I read somewhere this phrase, and I don’t know the author:
“I do not care what car you drive. Where you live. If you know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone! If your clothes are this years cutting edge! If your trust fund is unlimited! If you are A-List, B-List, or never heard of you list. I only care about the words that flutter from your mind. They are the only thing you truly own. The only thing I will remember you by. I will not fall in love with your bones and skin. I will not fall in love with the places you have been. I will not fall in love with anything but the words that flutter from your extraordinary mind.”
I don’t know what all of you caught from the phrase above, but the words that caught my attention where, “I will not fall in love with your bones and skin.” That is deep. Have you ever seen old people in deep love? I mean they’re not many around these days, but they were once upon a time. I believe that something old back in the days has been lost, that was so pure, so simple, and so beautiful.
Imagine sitting on a field looking at the sun in the late afternoon as wind blows through your body with the fragrance of millions of souls and spirits. There beside you sitting is your love. Natural, healthy, pure, honest, like the breeze of wind blowing freely around you, you can smell her scent as you close your eyes and feel her thoughts. You desire nothing more that to see her smile. No expectations, no rules. Just respect, honor, and love.
These days, I do not know what’s happened. Men are not men, and women are the women they were once upon a time. I am not the only one feeling this. Those that are single, or even in relationships that is not founded on pure love, feel a lack of emptiness inside their soul, which never is fulfilled, and is always seeking fulfillment.
These days there is no place for good guys. Which is sad, because when everyone breaks down from their hard emotional shells and walls. They all desire the simple, honest, good person, which they at one point, pushed away, because they didn’t match their shopping list of requirements.
People need to breathe nowadays. Otherwise they are going to kill somebody trying to find that love!
I recently met a woman, who beauty was flawless to me. At first sight I misjudged her, thinking she is just another beautiful fake person. We got introduced, started talking, and I told her what I did and what I liked. She was intrigued, and the way in which she expressed herself took a little of my breathe away. “Wow,” I thought to myself. My eyes deceived me as I found myself hooked to her every word. We got on the topic of love, and the role that men and women play these days in their so called romantic relationships. We started drifting away from the crowded room wanting to hear each other’s words and thoughts and found ourselves sitting on a bench. I watched her neckline, and her lips move as she spoke to what seemed like hidden echoes of a deep passion.
“I must say, you took me by surprise,” I said to her.
“You did as well,” she replied.
There we sat looking at each other, a bit scared, excited, joyful. I found that in fact we live not so far from each other, and I asked her if she would like to meetup again for coffee, dinner or drinks? She replied, “Yes I would love to.” And gave me her number. I wanted to call her the next day, but waited a day, and called her the following day. She was busy. I tried again in a few weeks, and again she was busy. So I left it alone, and almost two months later, I get an email.
I have always discovered that when you seek something really, really hard, you never get it. Only when you move on, that what you desired or wanted, comes back into your life. I believe at times it’s a test. Patience is a virtue like they say is actually true. The scent of love is rare, and beautiful to those that discover it and experience it.
I for one have always believed in love. I always believe, when you across paths with the right person, while you are doing what you love doing, it will happen, when you are least expecting it. That magic, that glow in your smile. And all that once seemed lost, will be found, and its then in those moments, we would wish to live forever!
